Feast of St. Francis of Assisi 1181-1226, Patron Saint of the Poor. Today he is honored for his radical love of God and all God’s creation. The Felician Sisters founded Villa Maria College in 1961. They follow a rule of life developed by Saint Francis of Assisi in the 12th century. We celebrate our Franciscan heritage the first full week each October. Please join in the celebration!
