CARES Act Student Aid

The federal government has provided another round of monetary relief to college students that we are calling CARES Act Part 2.  Villa Maria College will distribute these funds in an effort to assist students who have experienced a financial hardship due to the Coronavirus. Students can apply to receive funds through from March 1, 2021 through April 16, 2021. A student is eligible to receive funds if they are enrolled at the College in spring 2021 semester.  Funds may be used for any component of the student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care. Students who previously received CARES Act awards are eligible for funding in this round. Awards will be distributed either by applying it to student accounts, or by payment via check or ACH deposit. Students may choose to use the money given to them from the CARES Act funding however they desire and do not need to provide information about this.
