Please join us for our spring blood drive sponsored by Connect Life. They will have there mobile van parked in the Music Building parking lot on Monday, May 6 from 9am to 1 pm. Remember that one pint of blood can save up to three lives! All blood donors that day will receive a pair of flex tickets to a Buffalo Bison’s home game!

The goal of Healing Hub of New York, Inc. is to provide mental health support groups to young adults who are in higher education programs to further their education or skills. The group is meant to provide some space to discuss stressors and teach skills to manage stress/anxiety/and depression. In addition, discussing coping skills in dealing with life pressures that bring on mental distress. Sponsored by the Healing Hub of New York, Inc. and the Care Center.

Our Campus Minister, Brother Jason Damon, OFM was ordained a priest this past Saturday! Join us in the Campus Ministry Office on Tuesday, May 7 at 12:00 pm for a reception to congratulate him. Refreshments will be served! All are welcome.

Wellness Wednesdays events are a result of collaborating with multiple offices on and off campus. These events are designed to encourage mental health care, reduce stigma associated with mental health services, and connect students to supports and services.

Please join us for a memorial prayer service for Callie Craik, a student here at the College, who passed away unexpectedly last week. Callie was a beloved member of the Villa Maria community; she, her family, and her friends will remain in our thoughts and prayers. All are welcome to join us.

The Feast of the Ascension commemorates Jesus’ ascension into heaven 40 days after his resurrection. Thus Ascension Day falls 40 days after Easter, on the 6th Thursday of Easter. Join us for a special liturgy for this holy day of obligation on Thursday, May 9 at 12 pm in the college chapel. Father Jason, our newly ordained campus minister, will be our presider!

Join us in the DMAC on May 9th from 6-7pm to view the work of our Senior Game Design students. They have spent the last year making a game, called “Spirit Runner”. This showcase is their thesis presentation. Check out the show poster here.

Mélange is the thesis exhibition for the 2024 class of seniors from Villa Maria College’s Fine Arts, Integrated Arts, and Photography programs. It features the thesis work of Hayley Bigham, Destiny Caceres, Valerie Diaz Perez, Tracy Mendicino, and Alexa Szuder. The exhibition will be hosted by Nomel Arts, a gallery and studio located at the Niagara Frontier Food Terminal at 1500 Clinton street in Buffalo.
