Villa Maria College and the WNY Caring Communities Project Present “A Silent Night in Advent”

Villa Maria College and CARE, a theatre education program out of the Cleveland Playhouse, are hosting a Christmas concert on Friday, December 15. The concert, entitled “A Silent Night in Advent,” will take place in Villa Maria’s recital hall. The College is located at 240 Pine Ridge Road, Buffalo, NY 14225.

Tickets are $15 and all proceeds from the event will benefit St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy, a non-profit mission in the Roman Catholic tradition on the East Side of Buffalo.

Guests will enjoy the music of 4 local artists:

Fr. Bill Quinlivan
A Buffalo-based Catholic priest, Fr. Bill Quinlivan writes songs, prayers, and books. He has recorded 10 albums and self-produces music videos. In 2021, Fr. Quinlivan collaborated with students in Villa Maria’s animation department to create a music video for one of his newest songs, “Time for Bed.” Learn more about Fr. Quinlivan at www.frbillsings.com.

Sydnie Aria Perkins
Sydnie Aria Perkins is a vocalist and performer in Buffalo. Ms. Perkins has been singing since before she could speak. Her musical influences include Beyonce and Lisa Fischer. Ms. Perkins performs music in jazz clubs and theatres throughout Western New York. She is currently working on recording 2 albums: one with spiritual music and one with secular music. Part-Time Genius
Part-Time Genius is a high energy group that creates original funk, reggae, and ska music. The band currently consists of Scotty H on the bass, Jeremy “Big Kahuna” Wells on drums, LoRusso on guitars and vocals, Ben on the sax, Jake on the trumpet, and Richard on the trombone.
