Support Villa Maria College

Over the past few years, the Villa Maria community has experienced a tremendous amount of positive change. We put a down payment on our future through a thoughtful, college-wide strategic planning process that will see us into 2024 (and beyond). We transitioned our leadership, welcoming Dr. Giordano as our first lay male president. Together, we stepped into a new era in our 60-year history.

Everything decision made within the Villa community is done so with four key messages in mind — pillars that serve as the foundation for every expression of the College. Those pillars are:

  • Positive authenticity: a sense of belonging gives talent what it needs to thrive
  • Values-driven culture: learn to do well in the classroom and good in the world
  • Nurturing academic ecosystem: once you’re a Viking, you’re a Viking for life
  • Opportunity without compromise: potential is what sets Villa Maria students apart, not financial status

When you make a monetary donation in support of Villa Maria College, you are supporting the hard work and perseverance that defines the Villa student mentality. Many Villa students are the first person in their family to go to college, and that’s a big deal. Underneath that grit and determination, they want to be part of something. They’re creative, down-to-earth, passionate, and quirky in the best way. They have big dreams and need a supportive community that will help see them through.

In the Words of an Alum

“Villa Maria College helped me grow into the person I’ve always wanted to be. The school welcomed me, the faculty motivated me, and the friends I’ve made have encouraged and supported me. I never thought a college could shape a person as much as Villa has shaped me and I am so proud to be a Villa Viking.”
— Ashton Barrie ‘20, Martin Wanamaker Spirit Award Winner
