Sonic Vortex Live in CONCERT with MASTER CLASS by physicist and musician Ben Luce on Synthesizers & Music Visualization

Join us to experience Sonic Vortex as they perform original, instrumental “Ambient Spacerock” featuring shimmering sonic tapestries created with analog and digital synthesizer sounds, accompanied by mesmerizing visuals created from the sound itself in real time. Sonic Vortex is Ben Luce (synthesizers), Pete Black (String and electric bass) and Douglas Boyd (percussion). Ben Luce, a physicist who conducts research on vintage synthesizers, will also present a master class (12:20 PM) on the sounds and instruments he uses, and on how the waveforms and harmonics of these sounds are used to create the visualizations in a fascinating dance of science, music, and visual art. This event is free and open to the public.
