M&T Concert Series: Volver

Buffalo’s Volver (“To Return” in Spanish) is an ensemble that plays a lively, rich, multi-cultural repertoire of Forró from Brazil, Cumbia from Peru, Oros from the Balkans and Klezmer from the US/Europe. The quartet combines the unique sound of the Accordion, the Clarinet/Flute, the Upright Bass and Percussion. The band is not strictly traditionalist in its interpretations; they seek to improvise and bend genres to engage the listener in a cross-cultural world celebration.
