Biographical Info

Associate Professor (Music)

Professor Casuccio began working at Villa Maria College in 2005 and is currently Chairperson of the Music Department. He holds a Master of Science degree from Buffalo State College, and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Fredonia.

Anthony Casuccio is a 20-year music industry veteran. His audio work has been nominated for three Grammy awards and topped the Billboard dance charts. He has been featured in Billboard Magazine and Gramophone Magazine. He has worked with major record labels remixing and remastering over 450 albums (some receiving RIAA gold record status) from great artists like Tony Bennett, Roy Orbison, Linda Ronstadt, Glenn Miller, and Johnny Cash. He engineered/produced live audio mixes for Sony Music’s backstage show featuring major label artists including Lifehouse, Kasey Chambers, Eliades Ochoa (Buena Vista Social Club), and Victoria Williams and Mark Olsen (Jayhawks). He also did location recording for other life style programming shows with famous guest like Joyce Carol Oates, David Sedaris, Joan Chen, and Joe Satriani. He has done mastering and radio edits for Columbia Records acts like Cypress Hill, Our Lady Peace, Nas, Destiny’s Child, and the Dixie Chicks.

Anthony has various jingles running on radio and TV across the country that he composed and produced as well as songs played on various daytime soap operas.

While in San Francisco, Anthony sat on the board of Governors for the Recording Academy (Grammy Awards) and was elected to a second vice president position and is still very active within the Grammy organization and sits on various national nomination committees.

Anthony is currently a partner at Buzz Records. Besides audio production responsibilities, he is very involved in the marketing and P.R. aspects of the label.
