I love connecting with patients of all ages. I love watching their progress from the first day I treat them to the day they discharge. I love seeing the joy on their face when they are able to do something they didn’t think they’d be able to do anymore.
My biggest takeaway from Villa would be how lucky we are to have such great professors that are so passionate about seeing us succeed. I always felt like our professors genuinely cared about us and our wellbeing and always believed in us. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to have been taught by such amazing individuals.
Future PTAs: Don’t be too hard on yourself, and don’t panic, You are not the only one who feels lost when beginning their professional career.
