American Rescue Plan Act of 2021

The College is distributing the reminder of money that the federal government provided for monetary relief to college students through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (that we are calling ARPA). Villa Maria College will distribute these funds in an effort to assist students who have experienced a financial hardship due to the Coronavirus. The application period closes March 22, 2023.

Students who have special financial need can apply for funding today.  The amount of financial assistance will be determined by the College:

Students who previously received CARES Act or ARPA awards are eligible for funding in this round. Awards will be distributed either by applying it to student accounts, or by payment via check or ACH deposit. Students may choose to use the money given to them from the ARPA funding however they desire and do not need to provide information about this.

The College strongly encourages students to apply this award to their student account.

Please contact the Office of Financial Aid with questions at 716-961-1849 or stop by the Viking OneStop at Felician Hall.
