SKALD, Villa Maria’s art and literary magazine, returned for 2023. Guided by faculty, the publication is designed by graphic design students and contains academic work of student photographers, writers, designers, artists and more.

All work featured in SKALD is submitted by students on a voluntary basis and juried by faculty. The Columbia Scholastic Press Association and AAF Buffalo have recognized past issues of SKALD with many accolades including Silver and Gold Crown Awards and American Advertising Awards.
