Student Information Session: Are You Struggling with Your Living Situation? @ Villa Maria College, Counseling Center

Seek information about tenants rights and options for housing as well as emergency housing, affordable housing and group homes supporting recovery. Use this opportunity to consult the social worker about your specific needs, whether it be issues related to roommates, landlords or affordability, get connected! Assistance with the application process for affordable housing will be offered, as enrollment is open until Oct. 19th, 2018. Handouts & laptops will be present for further assistance. Don’t wait! Both sessions will take place at the Counseling Center, located across the hall from classroom L50.

Portfolio Day @ Villa Maria College, Athletic Center

Save the date for our annual Portfolio Day! High school students considering studying art in college should plan on attending to have their existing portfolios reviewed by faculty from participating colleges.

Student artists should bring sketch books, paintings, drawings, illustrations, 3-D designs, graphic work, or other art pieces. Portfolios should include at least 5 – 12 pieces of work that represent a breadth of artistic talent, including different mediums if possible. Portfolio pieces can represent classroom assignments as well as independent work.

Open Session with Dr. Giordano @ Villa Maria College, President's Dining Hall

Villa’s Interim President, Dr. Matthew Giordano, is holding four open sessions to give the College community more opportunities to discuss enrollment, budgets, strategic planning and anything else on people’s minds.

Any faculty, staff, or Board member is welcome to attend as few or as many as he or she would like. Dr. Giordano has some issues he will address at these sessions, but there will be no agenda. Attendees will be able to ask Dr. Giordano questions, offer ideas, and share concerns.

The final session will be held on:

    • November 26th 12:00-1:00, President’s Dining Room

    Thanksgiving Break @ Villa Maria College
    Nov 21 – Nov 25 all-day

    Villa Maria College will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 21, Thursday, Nov. 22, Friday, Nov. 23, Saturday, Nov. 24 and Sunday, Nov. 25 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Normal building hours resume on Monday, Nov. 26.
