Esther Annan has been named Acting Vice President for Development at Villa Maria College.
In her new role, Annan will lead the College’s development and philanthropic efforts, working closely with alumni, donors, community partners, and campus colleagues to advance fundraising initiatives that support student success and institutional growth.
Annan has been an integral member of the Villa Maria College advancement team, bringing a deep commitment to mission-driven work and strong experience in relationship-building and strategic engagement.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a passion for creating meaningful connections and expanding support for educational opportunities.
“Since joining Villa in February 2025, Esther has demonstrated her considerable skills at building relationships, expanding our reach into the community, and securing support from current and new donors and foundations,” said Dr. Matthew Giordano, the College’s president. “Esther has proven to be a valuable member of our College community, and I am fully confident that she is ready to lead our fundraising efforts.”
Annan’s leadership will be instrumental in guiding the College’s philanthropic priorities and fostering relationships that enhance the Villa Maria community.
