On Saturday, February 18th, Villa’s Animation Program will hold its 4th annual Villamation, a 24-hour animation competition.
According to Sarah Hanson, associate professor, says Villamation offers multiple benefits to its participants. “Animation students of all levels and abilities, freshman through senior students will work together in small teams to create short animations,” said Hanson. “Villamation is an awesome team-building, skill building, confidence-building, friendship-building experience.”
Students will work for 24 hours straight, and final animations will be judged by students, staff, and faculty. The members of the top winning team will receive prizes in the form of gift cards (as well as a great resume booster). All participants will also receive a free, official Villiamation t-shirt, as well as 24 hours of free food and drinks.
