Villa Maria College recently launched a new mobile website (www.villa.edu/mobile) to increase its reach to a broader audience of prospective and current students.
Villa is one of the first colleges in Western New York to introduce the use of this technology which is intended to meet the public’s evolving preference for the sharing and receiving of information in a highly competitive marketplace. Those accessing (villa.edu) from their mobile devices will automatically be redirected to the the mobile website.
Director of Enrollment Management, Kevin Donovan explains, “With our integrated QR-code campaign on direct mailers, brochures and outdoor advertising, students can now gain instant access to information that has been optimized for their smartphones. The mobile website is joining our enrollment text messaging initiative and provides a platform for students to stay up-to-date on academic program offerings, upcoming open houses, program day events, admissions deadlines and more.”
