Last week, Villa Maria College launched www.achieveatvilla.com, a brand new website featuring the College’s one-of-a-kind Achieve Program for Students with Learning Differences.
“The website was carefully designed to cater to both p
arents and prospective students, acting as a one-stop-shop that clearly lays out how the Achieve Program goes beyond the typical accommodations that students with learning differences receive in College,” said Jessica Stoddard, the director of communications and creative services at Villa. “The site aims to help visitors learn how the Achieve Program can help students with learning differences adjust to college life, manage their academics, and grow socially.”
A main component of the new website is a video that features Achieve Program staff, tutors, and students, and College faculty. Participants shared their personal stories and experiences, and shared what makes the Achieve Program and the services it offers unlike anything else in Western New York.
The Achieve Program at Villa Maria College is the only comprehensive program in Western, NY that support students with learning differences at the post-secondary level. With an 81% retention rate and a dedicated team of committed staff members and tutors, the Achieve Program is a success story about how Villa Maria is transforming the lives of its students.
