Buffalo, NY – September 18, 2012– On September 21-22, Villa Maria College will host hundreds of volunteers working to feed thousands of starving children in the developing world. Through a partnership between the host Villa Volunteers as well as Daemen College SPTA, D’Youville College SPTA, St. Luke Lutheran Church, theWELL Church, Busti Church of God and community members, volunteers ages 5 years old and up will be working together to pack over 100,000 meals to meet the needs of starving children in over 70 countries around the world. Volunteers will prepare 100,000 life-saving meals during the event that will take place at the Villa Maria College Student Center located at 240 Pine Ridge Road, Buffalo, NY 14225.
Packing sessions, will take place at the following times:
Friday, September 21, 2012 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, September 22, 2012 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Media are invited to attend the event. Children and adults in hairnets will gather in an energetic atmosphere to fill bags with four dry ingredients for hungry children around the world.
