The restoration team at Shea’s Performing Arts Center works full time to preserve the theater and repair the damage from the years of frequent use. I worked as part of a team throughout the semester learning about restoration, proper techniques, and actually doing repair work. Being able to feel like a part of history was a unique experience. I feel that I did my part to keep Buffalo beautiful and historically rich. As a designer it was a wonderful experience learning about yet another possible career path that I could follow.” – Kayla Alba, Interior Design, ’16Learn More About Our Experiential Learning Requirement

The Student Success Center played a huge role in making my first year at Villa as comfortable as ever! If I had an issue, the doors were always open! Plus, they offered great tutoring services, which I took advantage of when it came to writing big papers! The tutors took their time to read over my papers, gave me great comments to help improve my writing, and they were nice and actually cared about helping me! – Natalie White, Photography, ’19Learn More About Our Student Success Center

If it weren’t for Career Services, I wouldn’t be in this great position in life. They were always available and I always received an answer when inquiring about something. They frequently held seminars on building resumes or correct interview techniques and there were even opportunities to mingle and network with actual business professionals. This all contributed to my success and growth within my industry.” Dylan Brawn, Music Industry, ’14Learn More About Our Internship Requirement

“The faculty members work just as hard as we do and expect just as much from themselves as they do of us. They are always available for support and advice and would make time to encourage us and make the rough times manageable. I have spoken with PTA students from other colleges who did not have this experience, so I consider myself extremely blessed to have spent the last two years at Villa.” – Alicia Twichell, Physical Therapist Assistant, ’17Learn More About Our Internship Requirement
