The Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo helps our community and those who need help in our community in many ways. The house lets people stay there when they can’t afford to stay at a hotel for extended periods of time when they have a sick child in Women and Children’s hospital of Buffalo or at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
When I volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House I went out of my comfort zone and worked with a lot of people I have never met and also my bosses. Leaning to work with other people and making a huge event work is something I could take into my professional career. I’m going to be working with new patients all the time and sometimes meeting new people daily. — Jordan Davies, Physical Therapist Assistant
