Photography Professor to Debut Exhibit at Burchfield-Penney

Michael Bosworth, a long-standing faculty member of Villa’s Photography program, will have an exhibit on display at the Burchfield-Penney Art Center in Buffalo, NY. The exhibit, named ‘The House Has Gone Down and the Lamps Are Out,’ opens Friday July 14 and runs through September 24.

‘The House Has Gone Down and the Lamps Are Out’ is based on the book ‘Let Us Now Praise Famous Men’ by writer James Agee and photographer Walker Evans and the Great Depression.

Professor Bosworth began working at Villa Maria College in 1999. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Mexico, and Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees from SUNY at Buffalo.
