Senior photography major Molly Sheehan will exhibit her work in a show called “Beyond the Music.”
Sheehan photographs musicians in the environments in which they play and documents how they prepare for a concert. Each of her photographs are accompanied by audio of the musician singing or playing their instrument. The subjects of her photographs include the Amherst Symphony Orchestra and other classical musicians.
The exhibit takes place at Project 308 Gallery, and will run from March 31 to April 13. An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 5 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. This event is free and open to the public. Project 208 Gallery, which opened in August 2012, is located at 308 Oliver Street North Tonawanda, NY 14120. The mission of the Project 308 is to engage those who appreciate the arts, collaborate with local artists and students, and activate a renewed enthusiasm for art in the community.
Molly Sheehan is an Honors student at Villa Maria College and graduate with a BFA in Photography this May. For more information on the exhibition, contact Molly Sheehan at firstname.lastname@example.org or 716-207-0765.
