HARMONY ||| Villa Maria College’s Annual Fashion Show

Kindness and compassion go a long way.

We must work together to make the world a better place. Harmony is about coexisting through our differences, acts of kindness and growing as a community through fashion. This show brings the idea of uniting each other through creativity and fashion. We want this event to be one where all feel welcomed, appreciated and excited to see what the Fashion Department at Villa Maria College has to offer.  This year we welcome everyone to celebrate good fashion and compassion towards each other.

Since I was in 2nd grade, I knew I wanted to be a fashion designer. I am fascinated by using inspiration from what I see around me and turning it into a design concept. I am very grateful to have been able to achieve my dream; I look forward to my future as a designer. I want to express my gratitude to those who have helped me along my journey: my amazing family and friends. Thank you!

It has always been a goal of mine to graduate college. If someone told me just a few years ago that I would be graduating from Villa with a B.F.A. in Fashion Merchandising, I never would have believed it. I am grateful to have found this program, and even more excited to start my future career in a field that I love. Thank you to my family for always loving and supporting me.

Line | Made to Move

Throughout my life, I have been inspired by fashion and many different forms of art such as dancing, painting, and music.  Fashion has become a significant part of my life. I love to show off my creativity by styling myself from head to toe. I have been working hard to achieve my dreams and will continue to work diligently in the future.

Samantha Barr, ’18, Fashion Design

Fashion has become a major factor in my life. It’s a way I’m able to express myself. Tonight, I get to share my creativity with you. I would like to thank my family and friends for all of their love and support while I’ve been working towards my degree.
