Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Prayer Service

The International Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a response to Christ’s prayer “that they all may be one” (John 17:21). It is an eight-day period of prayer in which all Chris-tians are invited to participate. The week is celebrated each year from January 18-25, concluding on the Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul. Each year, a different theme is chosen. The theme for 2026 is “There is one body and one spirit, just as you are called to the one hope of your calling” (Ephesians 4:4). Villa Maria will commemorate this event with a brief prayer ser-vice on Thursday, January 22 at 11:15 am in the lobby of the Main Building. All are welcome!
