What I love about being a PTA is giving patients the confidence and tools to achieve their goals. That they have the ability to improve their overall function and truly appreciate the way a PTA contributes to this.
My biggest takeaway from Villa’s PTA program is the bond I formed with my classmates and the things I learned from their experiences as well. Villa is a smaller college and it truly felt like home when I was a student there 20 years ago. Everyone wants you to succeed.
My advice to future PTAs is to explore working in different settings to figure what you enjoy the most.
