Learn to make strategic decisions and confidently lead rather than follow by mastering the basics of business. As part of Villa’s Business Administration program, you’ll learn to think critically and consider long-term plans as you study the core business functions, like accounting, marketing, economics, human resources, management, statistics, and operations.

Experience

At Villa, you’ll work with local businesses to develop real-world marketing plans, recruitment strategies and analytical skills. Coupled with the internship experience you’ll be required to gain, these abilities translate into an incredible education that prepares you for a successful career upon graduation.

Applicability

Understanding the real-world implications of the core business functions you’ll study is imperative to achieving your long-term goals. Our project-based curriculum will help you master the principles you read about and experience how they are really applied in a professional business setting.

Communication

At Villa Maria, your business administration education will prepare you to be a leader in any business environment. You’ll learn how to develop a solid business strategy, but more importantly, you’ll learn how to think critically, work with a team, and think on your feet while delivering presentations.

Villa helped me grow into a leader. I found myself taking charge of group projects and stepping out of my comfort zone, which has carried over tremendously to my current career as an Assistant Vice President at M&T Bank. I love the constant challenges that I face in my every day duties, as well as working with the most incredible team I have ever had to pleasure to be apart of. My advice to future Vikings is to remember that progress isn’t always linear, and every little thing you do to further achieve your goals is a step in the right direction.

Kameron Kotecki, '19Assistant Vice President, M&T Bank

Since graduating, I have worked for an award-winning telecommunications company, ALLO Fiber. I started as a Creative Marketing Specialist but have been in my current role, Digital Marketing Manager, for over a year. I manage our campaigns and place ads across multiple platforms, such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc in all our Nebraska, Colorado, and Arizona communities. In my free time, I also enjoy creating fashion and beauty content on my Instagram and TikTok, where I have over 35K followers. I often collaborate with brands and hope to inspire women to feel good in their own skin.
