“Shoot Me Once\, Shame On You” is a short documentary screen ing reflecting on safety within our school systems in the fight against gu n violence. Gun violence has been a prevalent topic within the news and so cial media\, and I think that it’s important to touch upon this topic\, so we not only feel safe in our schools\, but also in our communities as wel l. I believe that gun violence gets looked at and then overlooked because people have made it normal in society. This project isn’t to scare anyone\ , but to contemplate it as a real and valid issue. I hope to make others m ore aware of the reality of gun violence in our schools and the impact it has had on many.
