2020 Fashion Design Look Book

Tapestry

During this unprecedented time, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the annual fashion show, which is produced by graduating Design and Merchandising students enrolled in, Fashion Show Production & Promotion (FDM 401), was canceled. In lieu of a live fashion show, the three graduation Fashion Merchandising seniors in this course: Angela Lemke, Maria Matyjasik and Chrissa Dimmick, were required to produce a lookbook, featuring clothing that “might have been” showcased in this year’s show, “Tapestry…refashioning the past…sustaining the future.”

As we celebrate the many of end of year, accomplishments, please help us celebrate their work by viewing the looks below, which would have been featured in the live show. Our theme this year is Tapestry, a modern take on ’70s and ’80s fashion trends in regards to silhouette, color and style.

We would like to thank our sponsor, AMVETS, as our plan was to use secondhand clothing to portray our theme. We feel as though sustainability and reducing our footprint on the environment are very important and we planned on showing that shopping secondhand is an easy and affordable way to do so. This look book demonstrates the outfits and styles that you would have seen coming down the runway.
