Ambassadors is a network of Villa Maria College students who assist the College in various recruitment and service-related activities.
Animation Club is open to all animation majors. The club affords students the opportunity to build their social, professional, and networking skills while learning and sharing animation knowledge above and beyond what is learned in the classroom. Club members will also travel to film festivals and animation studios.
Art Club is open to art students and gives them an opportunity to discuss both historical and contemporary art issues and to travel to New York City for intensive art and cultural exploration.
Campus Ministry Team is made up of students, faculty and staff offering members the opportunity to deepen their awareness of the presence of God and promote an appreciation and respect for the dignity and integrity of all persons.
Fashion Club is open to all Fashion Design and Merchandising majors. Meetings are dedicated to expanding interest in the fashion industry and discussing current happenings in the fashion world. The club also sponsors trips to fashion related businesses and/or locations.
Graphic Design Club is open to all Graphic Design students. The club provides students with opportunities to explore the field of graphic design through seminars, discussions, group activities, Brainstorm (local design club) events and field trips.
IN Club is the interior design club and ASID Student Chapter for current students and alumni. The club’s purpose is to promote awareness of current aspects in the design field, to assist members in preparing for employment and to offer community service opportunities relating to interior design. All chapter members are required to be registered with the American Association of Interior Designers (ASID).
Multicultural Club explores the different cultures of the world while sharing the organization’s ethnicity with members of the Villa Maria College community. The club implements service projects and provides support for its members.
Physical Therapist Assistant/Health Related Professions Club is a social and educational club comprised of Physical Therapist students and students interested in health science career fields. The organization sponsors program related seminars, speakers who share professional and career related information and social activities.
Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for two-year college students. It gives students the opportunity to develop leadership and service skills. Eligibility for membership in the local chapter, Tau Lambda, is determined by a combination of factors:
Photovisions is a photography club for students and alumni. Speakers, field trips and group activities promote knowledge and networking with area galleries and photographers.
SKALD is a national award winning annual literary and creative arts magazine which spotlights student literary, artistic and photographic work.
Student Union Board is the voice of the students as it pertains to student life at Villa Maria College. It promotes student responsibility, loyalty to the College, and cooperation among students in their relations with faculty and administrative staff.
Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is a global non-profit organization active in more than forty countries. SIFE is funded by financial contributions from corporations, entrepreneurs, foundations, government agencies and individuals. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams are led by faculty advisors and they are challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach SIFE’s educational topics: marketing, economics, success skills, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and business ethics. SIFE is open to all students.
Teachers Love Children (TLC) is a professional, social and community service oriented club for education students. Activities focus on professional development, guest speakers, service to children and social activities.
Villa Maria College Student Alumni Association Club is a group that is committed to nurturing a relationship between students and the College based on loyalty and the pursuit of knowledge. Student membership forms a lasting bond between students and graduates and facilitates all aspects of alumni support for the College.
Villa Volunteers is an organization dedicated to making a difference through service. This group is made up of students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni and friends who volunteer their time to help others. Past projects have included local service days in Buffalo, Olean, and Gowanda (with BonaResponds), projects at the St. Francis Residence, St. Monica Middle School, Cheektowaga Historical Society, Moving Miracles, Kevin Guest House, and others. We welcome anyone who wants to help us make a difference!
