Villa Maria College Life Long Learning and Workforce Development Center to Host Interior Design for High School Students Presentation February 16 - 20

Villa Maria College Life Long Learning & Workforce Development is pleased to announce it will be hosting a special presentation titled,

"Interior Design for High School Students". The program will run February 16-20, 2009 from 6:00 - 7:30pm. at the college.

A variety of design-related topics will be covered including: Identify what decorating style you have; learn how to create a focal point in any room; Exploration of color, its meaning, color strategies and how to use it; learning how to balance a room through different approaches. In addition, there will be a discussion on patterns and textures, and how to choose and hang art.

The goals of the programs are to assist high school students interested in interior design in a effort to learn basic decorating and style principals, room management functions, the importance of patterns & textures, color strategy exploration, goal and budget implementation, and accessorizing techniques. The instructor will be Michelle Monaco-Unger, a graduate from Buffalo State College with a degree in Public Communications.
