Villa Maria College’s Gospel Chorus performed at the annual Honors Banquet for the National Federation of Just Communities of Western New York, held on Thursday, April 11 at the Hyatt in downtown Buffalo.

The program included Maestro Joann Faletta, who was impressed with the performance of the chorus.  After requesting a private listening, Faletta invited the group of students to sing on a special feature with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Khalil Garrison ’16, Diamond Jones ’17, Victoria Mordaunt ’16, Kanesha Richardson ’18, Jocelyn Torres ’17, and Danielle Webster ’14 comprise the current chorus.

A private, co-educational, Catholic college, Villa Maria offers students a unique experience to learn and grow with a culturally diverse student population and a growing baccalaureate culture that lives its values of truth, charity, and unity.
