These weekly meetings allow students to learn and play different Table Role Playing Games. During these events, students take the role of heroic characters to go on a grand adventure in a fantasy or science fiction setting. These meetings introduce how these games are played and how to work in teams. You’ll get to show off your creativity through your characters. Some games that are played include Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and Starfinder.
Earth Day is about celebrating the wonders of nature and also learning about the destruction that is being done to our planet! Come on Monday, April 22 at 11:15 am to room 103 of the Main Building to hear one story of a community who’s culture and way of life is coming to an end because of climate change. Also hear about groups that are trying to combat this problem through education and activism. All are welcome to attend!
The goal of Healing Hub of New York, Inc. is to provide mental health support groups to young adults who are in higher education programs to further their education or skills. The group is meant to provide some space to discuss stressors and teach skills to manage stress/anxiety/and depression. In addition, discussing coping skills in dealing with life pressures that bring on mental distress. Sponsored by the Healing Hub of New York, Inc. and the Care Center.
The month of April is signified as Occupational Therapy Month, and as a part of their advocacy project, the occupational therapy assistant students will educate the Villa Maria College community on the importance of the “Occupation” of Sleep and Rest to improve engagement in daily activities.

Come learn more about this amazing book during our spring Bible Study series. Come to one or all sessions, whatever fits your schedule. No prior Bible knowledge is necessary. Feel free to bring a lunch, snacks will be provided. Open to all students, faculty and staff.

Come and join the Mental Health Advocates of WNY for Wellness Wednesday. The organization will provide a three-part series in addressing mental health needs amongst college students. The following topics will be covered: Anxiety, Grief, Depression and suicide prevention. Please contact the care center for additional information. Join us at an Interfaith Prayer Service, to commemorate this occasion with the college community on Wednesday, April 24 at 11:15 am outside by the front steps of the Main Building (rain location will be in the lobby of the Main Building).
